This patch version adds physical keyboard support to Android devices. This means bluetooth keyboards, chromebook keyboards, etc.
- Pressing a key on the keyboard when in-game will:
- Make the d-pad fade out almost entirely
- Show key preferences on spell & hotkey icons
- Hotkey preferences are now available in settings on android devices
- Pressing the d-pad again will revert this visual change
- All standard shortcut keys (M for map, I for inventory, etc) should work
- Space will open and close the chat
- Enter will open the chat and immediately start a new message
- Tab and shift + Tab will cycle through open chats
- Escape is the default ‘go back or close this page’ button
This is not a thorough and considered implementation, but it should allow you to play much more effectively with a keyboard (and optionally, a mouse) on any android device.
